Vladimir Bogosavljević - graduated (master's) clinical psychologist with a license to work in healthcare and a certified psychoanalytical psychotherapist.
I finished my master's studies in psychology at the Faculty of Philosophy in Niš. After completing six years of education in psychoanalytic (psychodynamic) psychotherapy and seven years of didactic (personal) analysis, I obtained the title of psychoanalytic psychotherapist.
I have certificates from numerous congresses, seminars and workshops in the field of psychotherapy, psychology and related disciplines in the country and abroad, in which I actively participated. I am the author of several papers and columns in the mentioned fields, as well as a handbook.
I gained many years of experience in the aforementioned areas as a human resources manager, school psychologist, pedagogical assistant for children with special support needs, clinical psychologist and psychotherapist within the Mental Health Protection Clinic, private practice and within the Psychological Counseling Center for Students, working with migrant and the refugee population (psychologist, senior child protection officer) as an official partner of UNHCR, as well as through numerous projects and trainings within various institutions.
I have been playing music semi-professionally for 20 years.
I currently work as a psychoanalytic psychotherapist in private practice, a consultant and psychotherapist within the Dr. Nikolić polyclinic and Hospital group and as an online psychotherapist with clients from Serbia, Europe and the USA. Since 2023, I have also been working as a didactic analyst within the Center for the Development of Psychotherapy and Psychodrama.
I have extensive experience in the individual psychotherapy of people with a wide range of disorders, conditions, life crises and problems (depression, anxiety, panic attacks, emotional difficulties, problems in interpersonal relationships, social inhibitions, personality disorders, various types of trauma, sense of meaninglessness, etc.) , as well as developing potential and creative abilities, various types of support and counseling, all with the aim of better understanding of oneself and others. I believe that it is important to work not only on reducing and eliminating symptoms, but also on analyzing the causes that create them. In therapy, I treat each individual in a unique way and focus on his personality dynamics, which we explore together through an emphasis on relationships and feelings, with the ultimate goal that with my help, the client comes to the necessary insights and motivation for change, and thus takes a more active role to would see at the end of the process that he is the one who is responsible for the achieved results.
In my work with clients, I use the techniques of psychoanalytic psychotherapy, as well as existentialism, because I believe that only in this way can we respond to the ever-increasing demands for adaptation to the modern way of life and the challenges it brings with it.
I do psychotherapy in Serbian and English with elementary knowledge of Italian and French.
