My name is Ivana Cinac, and I am currently a Psychotherapist under Supervision. I have completed a five-year training program in Reality Therapy and am currently in the process of writing and defending my final thesis.
I gained my professional experience at the Department for Affective Disorders (generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder with or without agoraphobia, social phobia, obsessive-compulsive disorder, depression) and Personality Disorders (borderline personality disorder) at the Psychiatric Hospital Jankomir. I have also worked for several years providing individual therapy to clients at the BEA Center for Eating Disorders, as well as through individual work with clients from the Igra Association, who presented with difficulties within the spectrum of anxiety and depression.
I am the author of several professional articles in the field of mental health.
I believe that the most important factor for the success of the therapeutic process is the relationship between the therapist and the client, based on trust, understanding, and attentive listening to underlying beliefs. I see the goal of psychotherapy as achieving satisfaction with one’s life regardless of current circumstances, as well as gaining a deeper understanding of human behavior.
